Dr. H. Joseph Naim is Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at University of California, Irvine Medical Center’s Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery. Board certified in general surgery, he is experienced in minimally invasive surgery of the gastrointestinal system. He has extensive training in weight loss surgery, including laparoscopic gastric bypass, revision of gastric bypass and gastric banding. Dr. Naim earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, with distinction in research. He completed his residency training in general surgery at New York Methodist Hospital, serving as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at University Medical Center at Princeton.


Glenn Andrew Marshak, M.D.
Internal Medicine

Dr Marshak is a Certified Nutritional Specialist (CNS). He is a Board Certified, Diplomat, American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Diplomat, American Academy of Pain Management. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Nutrition, American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgeons.

Dr. Marshak received his doctor of medicine degree from University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School, Chicago, IL. He did his internship and residency at U.C.L.A, at Wadsworth V.A. Medical Center. He specializes in Internal Medicine and Nutritional/Bariatric Medicine in Los Angeles and Orange County, CA. Dr. Marshak has held the position of Chief of Staff and Chief of Medicine at multiple hospitals in Los Angeles over the years. He is a member of the Medical Staff at Tri City Regional Medical Center, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Coast Plaza Doctors Hospital which are in close proximity to his outpatient offices. After being in Internal Medicine for several years, Dr. Marshak has dedicated a great portion of his practice to treating obesity and the health problems associated with this disease.
