CLINICAL INFORMATION


Criteria for Desirable Bariatric Operation

1. Safe; perioperative morbidity < 10%, mortality < 1%

2. Effective; > 40% excess weight loss in 80% of patients for > 5 years 3. Reproducible; surgical technique should be easily reproducible. Results from various centers should be comparable. 4. Maximal Revision Rate of < 5% per year.
